All models of the Matrix 320 series have built-in “ToF” sensors. Time of Flight (ToF) technology automatically detects the reading distance so that the sensor dynamically optimizes photometric settings to ensure ideal scanning performance. The orientation sensor enables easy positioning of the fixed industrial scanner during installation and stores its position in permanent memory. Automatic detection of unwanted product orientation immediately warns the operator and minimizes production stoppages. In case of replacement, the stored location data can be easily restored on the new device for quick and safe maintenance.
The Matrix 320 2MP offers Liquid Lens (LQL) models with three optical options: 6mm, 9mm and 16mm for wide, medium and narrow viewing angles. LQL models have electronic focus adjustment for when multiple shots of the same subject at different focal lengths are needed.
The Matrix 320 2MP and 5MP models can be used with C-mount lenses from Datalogic and any C-mount compatible or third-party lenses.
A wide portfolio of lenses, lighting, filters and accessories is available to configure the barcode scanner. You can easily configure the modular reader to handle the vast majority of vertical applications. The color and intensity of the illumination are easily selected based on the type of code, the material on which the code is placed, and the color of the material. However, if you prefer a simple plug and play solution, you can purchase a ready-made, fully functional stationary barcode scanner solution that you can use right out of the box.
The additional range also includes a wide range of mounting brackets, swivel connectors and connection options to suit all installation types.
The Matrix 320 series can be used as a fixed barcode scanner in place of traditional handheld scanners in eCommerce and intralogistics applications. This automation will fully support the high requirements for hygiene and safety.
