Two-color printing and applying labels in one step
The Hermes C system from the German manufacturer CAB is used for two-color printing and applying labels in one step, regardless of whether the marked parts are moving or not. It is developed for industrial use in production lines at speeds up to 125 mm/s. It meets all the necessary requirements for mechanical and electrical integration into manual workstations or into automated production lines, even in the case of really demanding applications. Two-color labels with a resolution of up to 300 dpi can be used to mark packaging of any shape – bottles, cans, bandages, barrels, cartons, pallets, etc. This device was awarded one of the most prestigious European awards in the field of packaging – the German Packaging Award.
Printer operation is intuitive and user-oriented. Hermes systems all have a common data interface and, thanks to the internal ABC compiler, can be integrated into an already existing environment, so that existing software applications and label layouts can continue to be used without any modifications. Computer-supported CAB “Easy Remote” enables connection to almost all ERP systems. CAB guarantees easy maintenance thanks to an integrated system for locating faults or defective parts. Also, replacing consumables is quick and easy, which helps prevent unnecessary downtime. Two-color printing on labels
CAB XC series printers are intended for printing two-color labels without automatic application, which enable the printing of labels of different sizes. These printers are equipped with two printing units for simultaneous printing of two colors on one label. The ribbon saving system in one printing unit allows you to save dye ribbon for a complementary color, which is especially beneficial when using more expensive color TTR ribbons. The printers are designed for two-color printing on both standard and special materials. To achieve high-quality printing even on more demanding materials, it is possible to print at a reduced minimum speed of 30 mm/s. XC series printers also meet the conditions given by the classification for the labeling of hazardous substances according to the GHS system.
Two-color ink-jet printing in high resolution
The ink-jet marking device of the French manufacturer Tiflex HRP R32 is intended for two-color printing in high resolution, up to 300 dpi. Depending on the resolution, it is possible to print at a speed of up to 200 m/min. accented characters, graphic symbols, date and time in various formats, counter, expiration date, bar and 2D codes. The message can be up to 10 m long and 100 mm high. The printer has a simple control via a 15″ touch screen, it can be connected via a serial interface and Ethernet.
