Revolution in industrial production
Automation in industry is becoming an integral part of modern production processes. For our customer, who specializes in the production of cables and electrical wires, we designed and constructed a fully automated wire and cable winding line. This line, 20 meters long, is composed of several key components that ensure efficient and reliable production.
Components of the automated line
At the beginning of the production process, the conductor cables are rewound. This step is critical to ensure proper cable length and quality. Subsequently, the cables go to the winder, where they are wound into small bundles. These bundles are then precisely cut to the required length.
The next step is the binder, where individual bundles of cables are tied. This process is fully automated, which guarantees consistent quality and bond strength. After tying, the cables are wrapped in foil, which protects them from damage and pollution. At the end, the bundles are marked with a labeler, which ensures the correct labeling of each product.
Robotic manipulation and palletization
One of the most important elements of this automated line is the robot, which takes the bundles of cables from the conveyor and places them according to the palletizing pattern that belongs to the specific product. This process is fully automated and enables fast and accurate handling of the products. Robotic manipulation significantly increases efficiency and reduces the risk of product damage.
