As we train not only for the performance of our professions, but also in the field of employee safety and health protection, after such training in the spring of this year, we decided to acquire an automatic defibrillator (AED).
It is a truly miraculous device that can save lives (not only) in the company. An emergency can happen anywhere and anytime. Why AED is so important to us:
Quick and easy response in case of cardiac arrest: The AED is designed to be quick and easy to use, even without medical training. In a company, an employee with minimal training can immediately react to a cardiac arrest and take the necessary steps until professional help arrives. Of course, we are trained to use AEDs. But even if we forget the information obtained, or if an untrained person has to use the AED, the system itself will guide the user with voice instructions on what to do.
Time is life: With heart problems, every minute counts. An AED can quickly diagnose serious conditions and, if necessary, give an electrical impulse to restore a normal heart rhythm. The sooner an AED is used, the greater the chance of surviving the victim or minimizing later health complications.
Safety of employees and customers: We have an obligation to take care of the safety of those who are on our premises – not only employees, but also visitors and customers. An AED can be an essential element in ensuring this goal.
